Extreme (ly PG) Rules

Just a quick update to let you know my thoughts on the most recent WWE PPV. As it's a B-Show it shouldn't be as good as 'Mania, but I don't think anything could be as bad as this years 'Mania.

Randy Orton defeats CM Punk in a Last Man Standing Match.
It was obvious that Punk was never going to win, but the worst thing is that this feud fizzled out weeks ago and nobody cared for this, it was solid but I didn't want to see these guys fighting, especially as Orton as the face has never been outplayed by either the numbers game of New Nexus or by the dastardly heel Punk. 6/10.

Kofi Kingston defeats Sheamus in a Tables Match for The US Title.
The result was not really in doubt when you realise that if Sheamus had one, both mid card belts would have been stranded on Smackdown! That being said Kofi & Sheamus had a heated match, and drew the crowd in, even if Kofi seems to be being booked like Shelton Benjamin. 7/10.

Jack Swagger & Michael Cole defeat Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross in a Country Strap Match.
This whole thing was horrible and the heels won again, which probably means this feud that should have already ended weeks ago is going to be continued at the next PPV. 3/10.

Rey Mysterio defeats Cody Rhodes in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.
These two once again put on a great match and really used the gimmick stipulation to great effect, including some great brawling at ringside and some interesting backstage antics. However the wrong guy one, this feud seems to be ending when it should be kicking up another gear, Rey could have made Cody a genuine main eventer with a prolonged angle. Still at least it was a great match. 8/10.

Layla beats Michelle McCool in a No DQ, No Countouts, Loser Leaves WWE Match.
This match was actually fairly good for Divas standards and the result was the one I wanted, although I don't see why McCool would leave the company, so I'm guessing she's just taking time off with Mark. As for the post match beat down of McCool by Kharma, that looked as if it was to turn McCool face! 6/10 as it was decent mid card stuff.

Christian defeats Alberto Del Rio in a Ladder Match for the vacant World Championship.
A hard hitting ladder match, that seemed a little more than PG at times, in fact Christian bled from a hardway shot with a ladder (although not as much as Brodus Clay, who left a pool of blood at ringside). Still think there was a bit of a pause in action so the ref could mop him up, but it was better than the last time Christian was in a ladder match. As for the action, it was of a very high quality and despite the assist from Edge it seems Christian might get a chance to prove VKM wrong. 8/10

Big Show & Kane defeat Wade Barrett & Ezekiel Jackson for the World Tag Titles in a Lumberjack Match.
After all the good stuff on the card we're brought back down to earth with a plodding exercise in how to kill a crowd, using a bunch of lower card lumberjacks didn't help. I didn't even know who half of them were. As for the action in the ring, there was none. 3/10. Over quickly and in the end pointless.

John Cena defeats The Miz & John Morrison in a Cage Match for the WWE Championship.
They couldn't do it could they? They had to take the belt off of The Miz. Cena has got to the point where he never needs to have the belt (apart from The Champ Is Here line) and keeping it on the heel would give all the faces on Raw something to do in the coming months. I can tell where they're going with this though, keep the belt with Cena so after they have their showdown on Raw (which I've not seen, but is inevitable) they can build to next years 'Mania. In the meantime, give nobody a reason to care about the strap.
The match itself was again very good, although Truths beat down of Morrison was so long that Miz & Cena could have gotten out of the ring. 7/10 solid but with a dissapointing end.

PPV Score = 6/10

EntertainmentMania I (formerly known as WrestleMania XXVII)

I pretty much gave up on this blog as I had neither good or bad things to say about wrestling, both TNA & WWE are knocking out such average content that it's pointless reviewing any of it. However Wrestlemania is always the one show a year where WWE gets everything right and everyone forgets for one night just how stale the product is.

This year was different, I can only say that we watched the end of one PPV and the birth of another, Wrestlemania is no more and EntertainmentMania has been born.

Wrestlers have been replaced by Superstars who have now been replaced by Entertainers. WWF Fans were replaced by the WWE Universe, even the most electrifying man in Sports Entertainment has been rebranded.

I know I'm older than Vinces' targeted demographic, but I don't see many 8-16 year olds with $65 to spend on a monthly PPV, so whilst he's aiming for the parents of said demographic I'm left wondering what part of the show is meant for me. It's not the wrestling as that's been simplified so anyone can attempt it (even though they tell you not to), it's not the violence as there isn't any. It's not the divas as they wear more clothes than the guys nowadays. As I'm left pondering this unanswerable question I shall continue my badly written rant/review.

I'm just going to say a few words about each match as I could probably go on about this show for days.

Now before the show even starts I find out that Bryan vs. Sheamus has been pulled, I thought it would at least be a dark match but no, not even happening. Although there was a dark match. Khali winning a battle royal. I guess it counts as a gimmick match. Barely.

Raw starts with The Rock cutting a promo, then they decide to go back and restart the show proper.

Edge v. Del Rio was actually a good choice for an opener although you don't usually start a show with a heel win, so Edge looked odds on to retain for the whole match, at no point, even with his 3 against 2 advantage did it look like he would win. Think Santino winning The Royal Rumble would have been a better result in hindsight, given how this turned out.
The post match beatdown of the Rolls Royce was very Smackdown! however and just made Del Rio look like a bitch. 6/10 for the whole thing.

Cody Rhodes beat Rey Mysterio in the match of the night, had a good story, good background and was well paced, also the fans were into it. 8/10

Corre vs. Kingston, Marella, Kane & Big Show was just getting started when it finished, the entrances went longer than the match. It only existed to give Kane & Show a mania pay day. 3/10 Worthless.

Orton & Punk had a lot longer thankfully and had a decent bout, but as this was tipped as the show stealer by the IWC it fell short of our high expectations, still it ended up being the 2nd best match of the night with Orton getting the victory 7/10

Cole getting the victory over Lawler was the only logical choice after everything that had come before, but parts of this match were hard to watch, for long periods. Plus Lawler came across as being a complete dick. 4/10

Undertaker vs. Triple H has split a lot of the crowd, some are calling it a great match others are rightly saying it was over long, tedious and nowhere near as good as the match that never happened between them at WMX7. I enjoyed the match, and it was better than I thought it would be, but they took shortcut after shortcut and botched the ending. 6/10

John Morrison, Trish Stratus & Snooki def. Dolph Ziggler & Lay-Cool in a 'We want Media attention' match. It served it's purpose, it will be mentioned on TMZ and MTV and in 20 years time people will look back fondly on such Wrestlemania guests such as Wheres The Beef Lady, That kid from Home Improvement and the oompa loompah from Jersey. 3/10 Dolph, Trish & Jo Mo deserved more than this.

Before we get the main event Miz has a phenomenal video package and a non over the top but decent entrance followed by John Cena blacking it up, Redding it up and then Supermanning it up.
The match was okay considering Cena had to carry the thing, Miz got in some decent attacks and made their first PPV match seem like a bad dream. I was even happy with the finish, it was a clean double count out after some decent brawling on the outside. Until The Rock decided a clean finish at WrestleMania wasn't allowed, and had to come out and restart the thing. He then flattened Cena allowing Miz to win. Rock also then took out Miz leaving an actor in the middle of the ring to sing off EntertainmentMania. 7/10

Total PPV Rating 5.5/10

I need to go and watch something other than wrestling as I feel like I've been burnt out by this and I have to watch Raw, Hall Of Fame & Tough Enough tomorrow to see if they're going to publicly apologise, But if this has taught me anything I think it's that if you can stream it illegally on the internet, it's definately worth the price.

TNA Turning Point - 'Tweet-Blog'

A Tweet-blog by my definition is a blog made up of small bite size comments that are made about a subject as they occur to that person. In other words this is what i would be tweeting, but instead to save my followers the pain of 100+ references that they may not get, I have bundled them into a blog format so anyone who chooses to can give it a read.

Not watched TNA since the last PPV i reviewed so it could be a completely different beast. Although that's just wishful thinking, it's probably still the same inept company it was 4 weeks ago.
Opening promo and Jeff Hardy is milking it. He's saying he's the antichrist of wrestling. Whilst looking a bit like Raven. Fat Raven.

And guess what opens the show, Suprise suprise it's an X-Division title match... Just rename it the ECW title and we'll know how you feel about it... actually don't do that. call it the EV2.0 title, don't want you getting in trouble with your mummy Dixie.
Has Robbie E stole Zack Ryders gimmick. No. but he's still totally lame.
Oooh Jay Lethal is the champion. Not sure if he was the champion last month but it's the X Title, i'm not meant to care.
Okay now to watch some wrestling, this maybe the best match of the night going by past TNA PPVs.
Nice tight flowing wrestling so far. Robbie E not really doing much yet. Looks like he only knows how to work WWE style.
Now he's using a rest hold.... sigh. In an opening match of a PPV. Followed up by ANOTHER rest hold.
The Guns are going to have to save this show if this is what they call high flying action.
Tenay just said the line of the night so far ".....The Crowd at Turning Point" - Yes, Yes they are.
The crowd start chanting TNA just because something happens. Give me Ziggler vs. Bryan again over this.
Brilliant we have a NEW champion. A wrestler that makes Matt Morgan look like a man of a 1000 holds in comparison. Crowd boo but mostly they're apathetic. That match was just pathetic. Jay Lethal deserved to lose his title to someone in his league at least.
Tazz & Tenay now explaining the stipulations for the main event, that someone's getting fired. It won't be Russo. Also mentioning that Team 3D are in their last ever match together. I wonder what the odds are on both of those stipulations getting ignored. 90-100%

Mickie vs. Victoria Tara. 2 of the best workers in WWEs womens division. And unlike that division I won't be fast fowarding this match.
A lot of rest holds in this but also a lot better wrestling. Mickie for X Title?
Mickie James seems to be sporting one of Shawn Michaels old outfits.
Nasty bump for both as they tumble off the top rope to the floor via the apron. Now this match is starting to resemble a cat fight. Now they're out of the ring and fighting by the stage and through the crowd. Referee allows it continue until he accidentally gets slapped and calls for a DQ. Mickie & Tara don't care and continue to fight. Tara ends up on the lap of a bunch of TNA ring guys and then gives Mickie a broomstick. Giggidy. although not like that. Finally security come out to break them up. but not for long. D'lo Brown & Simon Diamond to the rescue then.

Team 3D Promo. They want one more title match. against the Guns.
Even my smart wrestling brain can't call this even though I know that they have signed an extension. I wonder if this is like one of those Terry Funk style last matches.
I would love to see 3D return to WWE for one last run, but they have no-one to face. Nexus? Hart Dynasty? Usos?
Nice little bit of history by Tazz on commentary even referring to 3D as The Dudley Boyz. Crowd not really into this show so far. Noticed some guy a few rows in just checking his phone for about 30 seconds mid match. Problem with having all your shows in the same venue. Especially as his ticket was probably free.
We have Juice and despite what Tenay says that was not hardway. I wonder if the Guns are going to be blading in this one given their previous history on the subject.
Guns definately taking the roles of heels in this one, Devon in after a hot tag. Pretty good stuff so far. Their styles compliment each other really well. Hint to WWE tag wrestling works aslong as teams have different arsenals rather than the same catalogue of moves.
Near fall for Team 3D. Devon going for patented out of date Budweiser advert headbutt. Now come the table. Sabin runs up the table, jumps out of the way as Brother Ray dives through. Devon alone getting double teamed now. Shelley kicks out of the 3D!! Very nicely done. i thought that was it. Team 3D look shocked but the Guns keep going and pick up the win. That's how you make a tag match seem important. Best match of the night so far without a doubt. Guns helping Brother Ray up, so thankfully no swerve heel change there then.

Tommy Dreamer vs. RVD is up next. Again not really sure why they're fighting. a nice recap video might have helped here. Tazz on commentary failing to tell us why they're fighting. It's about trust and respect. Okay that's good enough reason I suppose.
So far this match has been very slow... it's definately not been Non Stop Action. Not even had the RVD pandering to the crowd yet. Ladder has been brought in to play to liven things up. Nice rolling thunder attempt onto a Ladder by RVD. Dreamer even breaking out a frog splash. Looks like he landed bad, checking his wrist straight away. Match technically standing still now as they try and come up with a finish. Dreamer definately injured out there but still avoids a split legged moonsault. Suplex off a ladder on the ropes countered by RVD. Dreamer is taking some punishment out there. Dreamer visibly calling the match out there and avoids another frog splash. However he takes another one on a steel chair and gets pinned. That match picked up AFTER Dreamer got hurt. Possibly a broken wrist, there is a visible bulge in his arm.

Evolution Four Horseman Fourtune Fortune & Ric Flair promo time. Even saying that Christy Hemme gets on her knees. Giggidy.
Nice of them to introduce Fortune to the crowd but not the PPV audience. #reasonswhyTNAstillhaveawaytogoproductionwise
EV.2 losing Sabu. That's what i'm going with right now. Fortune with the win. I'd say Styles over Richards. Let's see what happens. Oh okay it's just been made clear on commentary that the guy who gets pinned loses his job. so Sabu to get pinned by Styles.
Raven obvisouly has forgotten the name of his team his shirt just reads " THING 2"
It's hard to care about this match. It's almost as pointless a match as TEAM RAW vs. TEAM SMACKDOWN at Bragging Rights. The action is okay when Richards or Rhyno are in the ring for EV2.
Styles ribs tattoo is really off putting. Action picking up as Hebner loses control. Roode gets GORED by Rhyno.... that was awesome.
Angels wings on Sabu and he's outta here. If only i could have put money on this :(
Would have been better off getting rid of Raven. Ric Flair cutting a promo as if he gets to pick who leaves. Almost as if someone has'nt quite told everyone the stipulation. again.
Dreamer comes out to lead a nice little tribute to Sabu.

R-Truth   The Pope introduces us to his family. Including his brother. Who has a different surname to him. although whilst he's wrapping up his promo Mickie & Tara carry on there brawl.
Not really looking forward to this match.Abyss has been a joke for the last year or so.
To make this match even less exciting it's going to be a lumberjack match.
Really not into this match. Even opened another tab on my browser to check on some other sites.
Tazz saying a diving headbutt from Dinero hit Abyss in the ribs... it looked like D'Angelo missed completely from the view we had!
Eric comes to the ramp and then all the lumberjacks turn on Dinero. We almost went 2 hours without a swerve turn. Black hole slam and Abyss gets the win. And thankfully this is over. All though that means the Upper card is next. Which doesn't bode well at all.

Backstage and Christy is trying to get a word with Sabu. Stevie Richards comes out of the locker room doing his best Val Venis impression and I notice the Turning Point posters on the wall..... Jeff Hardy is slowly transforming into a Juggalo. Richards challenges Styles to a match on Impact. That will get people tuning in.

I hope Samoa Joe breaks Jarretts neck. That guy needs to take a hint and go away. Stay behind the scenes, do the booking, coach some of the younger guys but stop taking up roster space.
Although it's better than 5 years ago when Jarrett headlined 1000 pay per views in a row.
JOE IS GONNA KILL YOU..... Let's hope he gets close at least.
I hope Joe is super stiff in this and no sells everything. Unfortunately it's not going that way so far.
Joe unloaded a ton of chops on Jeff. That made me happy.
Middle rope stroke from Jeff gets near fall.
Suicide dive by Joe takes out Jarrett and *REF BUMP* always a Hebner.
Jarrett in using a foreign object schocker. Crowd chanting for Angle who retired last month.
Jarrett wins because Joe doesn't raise his hand. FUCK YOU RUSSO.

Recap package reminding me that i have managed to make it through almost 2 1/2 hours of TNA.

I'm expected to cheer FOR Matt Morgan. This is going to be a horrible main even especially with Jeff Hardy as the champeen. The recap package shows the nasty gash on Andersons head.
Not really liking how they make light of concussions but hopefully they can treat their talent a little better in the first place not to get them. No need for that nasty looking chair shot.
Also Morgan pointing out that Bischoff shouldn't have brought an open contract to the ring was a nice touch. You know especially as Morgan isn't number one in the rankings. They still have the rankings right?

This has been hard work I can tell you. Isn't watching wrestling meant to be entertaining?

It still amazes me that 2 years ago Jeff Hardy was the hottest thing in wrestling and now he's just the TNA champion. How the mighty have fallen.
Has Matt Morgan stolen Brock Lesnars back tattoo?
Always a worrying sign when the heel gets cheered and the crowd are apathetic to the face. Is this Russos idea of pushing New Blood? It's just the Millionaires club in sheeps clothing.
Favourite sign of the show "Hardy is a TOOL" so true.
How come the only girls allowed in the front row have bingo wings. And are Hardy fans.
Okay it's main event time. Apparantly.
Lots of stalling in the early going. Morgan looks like he's gassing already. Hardy thrown to the floor in front of one of the roundest spectators i've ever seen. I'm sure he was using 2 chairs.
Hardy trying out submission moves on Morgan making for yawn tastic viewing.
Hardy puts Morgan into another rest hold. I miss the old TNA.
Nice discuss clothesline by Morgan keeps me awake. Chokeslam leads to a near fall for Morgan.
(I wonder when the last time Jeff went to the gym)
Ref messes up (or that's how it comes across) Morgan then gets a twist of hate but kicks out at 2.
Hardy delivers a whisper in the wind and another twist of fate to end this match of the year candidate.
I'm being sarchastic! This would have difficulty being the best thing on Superstars.
Fortune come to the ring with some bubbly to help Hardy celebrate. Then the Hulk-confetti falls.... Maybe it's in an ironic way. TNA have nothing to celebrate from this show.

BEST MATCH: Motor City Machine Guns defeat Team 3D.
WORST MATCH: Jeff Hardy defeats Matt Morgan.

I don't think I'm ever going to do that again. I've wasted 3 hours of my day off watching that.

Well that's my TNA dose for the month. It was technically an overdose. I shall try and get the strength and courage to make it through their next PPV.

It's hard to stand up for WWE when they make so many mistakes.

Raw this week featured a video for WWEs new stand up for WWE campaign. A horrible piece of propaganda littered with inaccuracies and lies. I honestly lost count of everything that was wrong with the video and then they went and stated this fact "78% of Raw viewers are over 18", so why in the blue hell is the product PG now?
Well the answer is quite clear Linda is running for Senate and Hasbro's contract with WWE pretty much demands it. So until the 78% of us do the right thing and switch off we have nobody to blame for the piss poor product on show.
I for one used to watch Raw for the wrestling, the cutting edge angles and the builds for PPVs. Nowadays the build for a PPV happens 1 week before the show (as was the case with Bragging Rights).
I only tune in now for what COULD be. They could one day cash in on what they promise, WWE have a strong roster across both it's brands and some technically gifted wrestlers and could entertain it's audience once more.

Now everyone knows i'm a Cena hater, but it was'nt always the case, in fact i was quite a fan of his lame freestyling gimmick, now he's become Superman working for a heel faction and the only way you know that is a little armband you can barely see under his t-shirt.

A lot of people say that if you start picking holes in the product it's time to take a step back, look at it for what it is and stop reading the forums, message boards and the smart magazines. If I do that I would have NO interest in the product whatsover as it does'nt deliver as a form of entertainment anymore.

I like Dexter, Inbetweeners, South Park, True Blood, Family Guy and WWE no longer fits in with that, instead WWE is now going for the Ben 10 crowd, the Hannah Montana fans and does'nt care about 78% of it's audience. This is what i truly don't get.

What makes it worse is that those under 18 have no way of paying for the PPVs and by WWE targeting the kids it's making it hard for adults that don't have kids to justify paying that amount of money every 3 weeks for what is a child friendly pantomine. No wonder UFC is doing so well right now and if TNA could just book solidly for a few months who knows if they could actually become a threat to WWE.

Stand up for WWE. I wish i could sit down and watch it without wanting to smash my TV.

TNA Bound For Glory - Live'ish.

As i've updated my blog I might as well have something to blog about so i'm going to try and cover TNAs biggest show of the year, Bound For Glory. Shall keep the updates short and almost twitter like. Wish Me Luck.

Opening the show with MCMG vs Gen Me is such a great idea, i've been away from decent high flying action for too long.
Great Match with the Guns retaining the belts. If the rest of the show is this good i'm coming back to TNA full time. (I know it won't be)

Mickie James is guest ref in the divas knockouts match, looking great too. Another reason for me to go full time with TNA?
The match was'nt as bad as what i watched on Raw earlier but still nothing compared to how the Knockouts division was like a year ago, least the botches were minimal.

What's going on with Eric Young is he mental again? where's Nash? Orlando Jordan dressed up in a lace hood! a reason to stay away from TNA forever?
Ink Inc Stink.
Well they don't but i'm not looking forward to this tag match at all. I do have the choice to fast forward but that's cheating.
Eric Young is walking round with an actual TNA RULE BOOK, wonder if any of the bookers have read that or if it's just empty.
Is it too late for them to bring back the don't fire Eric gimmick, it's been over 7 months. Oh wait 7 months is 7 WWE years.
I'm trying to work out if this is meant to be a comedy match.
What was the last WWE PPV that had 2 tag matches on it? now trying to work out when WWE had 4 active tag teams to make that even possible.
Eric Young is now fighting his own partner after tagging in one of his opponents. Tenay summed it up "What the hell did we just watch?"

Jeff Hardy still seems to have a paint problem. As in he still uses it, WWE would have in rehab for that.

Back to normality hopefully as Douglas Williams takes on Jay Lethal for the X title.
Jay Lethal jumping about for 15 seconds just to get an arm drag. still at least a good solid start to the match.
Williams just drops Lethal on his neck. Nice to see a suplex in modern wrestling, although the top rope one in the MCMG match was great it was hella dangerous.
Rolling chaos is such a great move, maybe my favourite since the Canadian destroyer.
Nice finish to the match too with Williams going to the top rope once and getting countered. Continued Williams anti high flying story and was a clean finish for the champion.
Not too keen on the Lethal beat down afterwards by some guy i've never seen before, however that girl had some talents.

Monster's Ball match time. I've always liked these but back when the entrants had to be locked up for 24 hours before the show. Now it's just a DQ match with a lame name. Anyway let's see how Kanekind gets on with RVD.
Apparantly they might show up. I've not been following TNA for a while but even i'm fed up with all the constant 'they' references.
Abyss just bulldogged into a barbed wire board followed by RVD rolling thundering onto the same board after Abyss moved out of the way. Think i'm going to see some juice in this one.
Nice table spot on the outside, rolling thunder by RVD up over the rope onto Abyss. so far so good.
It's not called coast to coast in TNA Taz, that's Shane O Macs move that RVD stole (sic)
Janice is a weapon. okay that makes sense now. Abyss takes a shot to the gut by Janice and RVD wins with the 5 star frog splash. Now to focus on winning the title that he never lost and that has'nt been defended since he was stripped of it.

Okay that silliness is over now we've got the OLD guard. sigh.
Pope & Joe thrown in so i can't just fast forward it. Well i could but I want to see where this crap is going. As it's a handicap should i expect a Hogan run in (or limp in) for the save?
Joe looks like a butcher, and that wasn't even in reference to his chops, just his sidees.
I hope Joe hurts Sting. a lot.
He would be HUGE business for a final one year run in WWE but he's just another old guy in TNA.
This match would have been better if Jeff had been regimmicked as Samoa Jeff.
That'll be why he has'nt been. Jeff just turned on Joe. sigh.
Kevin Nash picks up the win. sigh.

The Dudleys have got something to say. i wonder if it involves testifying or tables.c-c-c-c-ould be good.
Brother Ray is right though TNA have the best TAG division in the world, if only it could let the rest of the world know it.
Team 3D have retired but want one last shot at MCMG.
Tables & Testifying were mentioned too.

Fortune vs. EV2 in a Lethal Lockdown. means it's time for another rambling Ric Flair promo.
I was trying to work out why Fortune were all giving the shocker hand signal for quite a while.
I want Fortune to win but i'm not sure who the faces are meant to be, EV2 have the man advantage so that makes them heels right?
Stevie Richards actually looks like he has it all of a sudden. Reminds me of Shawn Michaels a little.
Best thing about Dreamer is his shirt.
Sabu looks just like Sir Ben Kingsley.
Raven's in the match now and looking a bit like Dusty Rhodes.
I'm not really into the 'action' although people are bleeding now, somehow. Must've happened when i was googling for Kingsleys pic.
Rhino is in now. is this when the roof goes on? Oh yes the music has hit (how come the cage has it's own music?)
Flair is being beaten down by Foley, apparantly he does'nt like his new book either.
When have trash can lids ever been made of aluminium foil? it's a question as old as wrestling itself.
Now they're on top of the cage and i'm feeling a little nervous, nice tease of someone going off the top.
Kendrick was hiding under a sheet on top of the cage. he botched climbing a ladder.
It's over with Dreamer pinning Styles. did'nt really have much of a flow to it.

Main Event time now. Still no sign of 'they'.
I want Kurt to win. I would have said Hardy if it was'nt for him being a complete douche now. (although not as much as his bigger brother!)
Triple threats are never that great but everyone is going full steam ahead so it's definately not lacking in effort. Jeff has just done his first move to the outside, looked painful.
looks like Angle tried to counter a swanton on Anderson, did'nt come off though.
First Dixie shot of the night.
Angle now going for a double ankle lock on Anderson & Hardy. nice.
Hardy swanton onto Anderson who's trying to pin Angle.
Audible call from Angle to ref, but i'll let him off. It's picking up the pace now with plenty of near falls.
Hardy swanton onto Anderson, Angle pulls Hardy off Anderson into an ankle lock, countered into Anderson doing a Mic Check.
Angle moonsault onto Hardy.
REF BUMP!
Everyone is down and Bischoff is coming to the ring with a steel chair.
LOL. Hogan on crutches coming to the ring!!
2 minutes have passed everyone else is still down whilst Bisch & Hulk bicker.
But. it was a swerve Jeff breaks up the bickering and hits Angle & Anderson with crutches and gets the 3 count.
Dixie shot. Perplexed!
Bischoff presents the new champion and Hogan smirks.Hogan is heel now. Jarrett & Abyss show up and join in the celebrations.
RVD hits the ring. Jeff nails RVD.
and 'they' still did'nt show up.

Okay that show started off alright but sadly the opening match was the highlight. TNA syndrome for you. If you watch the card backwards they'd probably be pretty good. I'm done. my eyes hurt and my brain is fried. I just wanted to watch some wrestling.

oh and Angle lost so that means he's retired. so i expect to never see him in TNA again then.
